I wished my daughter (born, raised and educated in Canada) that she may one day become a Senator or Governor General.

I have a fear of making specific wishes, coz I believe in the saying, 'be careful what you wish for, for it may come true'. And it did happen with me back in college, where my mere prayers of escaping college the next day came true, but only after suddenly losing my uncle that night.

But it all boils down to one thing really. Happiness. Be happy. Rich or poor. Successful or failure. Whatever it is... I wish happiness. More so to my family at this point in time.
