The debate for the June 2 (2022) provincial election in Ontario (Canada) took place on May 10 in North Bay (Ont.) between Liberal Party leader Mr. Steven Del Duca, Progressive Conservative (PC) Party leader Mr. Doug Ford (current Premier / C.M.), NDP (New Democratic Party) leader Ms. Andrea Horwath, and Green Party leader Mr. Mike Schreiner. The debate was moderated / led by Mr. Markus Schwabe of CBC Radio.

Good way for the provincial party leaders (heading their political parties as the potential premier or chief minister) to highlight and debate important provincial issues in the media and in front of public before the provincial elections, which enables voters to make proper choice when they cast votes.

The final debate (general / overall Ontario issues) for June 2 Ontario election between the leaders of Ontario political parties (Mr. Doug Ford of PC Party, Ms. Andrea Horwath of NDP, Mr. Steven Del Duca of Liberal Party, and Mr. Mike Schreiner of Green Party) was held in Toronto on May 16. The debate was telecast live on CBC and CTV television channels in Ontario and moderated by journalists Ms. Althia Raj and Mr. Steve Paikin.
